We lead Outreach and Mentoring programs to at-risk and special needs youth, student/athletes, and coaches highlighting the importance of Character with an emphasis on "generational change." We use large group special events, one on one mentoring, and Character development teaching materials. Be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me…entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2).
We teach God's Word in churches, Bible study groups, and marriage seminars by invitation. We currently lead weekly Bible studies for student/athletes and coaching staffs. We produce Spiritual Conditioning lessons for daily development. The Word of God is the only source for change. Its authority is supreme and sufficient for every person and its teaching is real, reliable, and relevant to every aspect of life. God's Word is able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:15-16).
WINSDAY WISDOM is our weekly blog with stories and Scripture encouraging practical ways to love others, first and most. Winsday Wisdom can be accessed via Facebook@rexblankenship23, Lovefirstlovemost.com/blog, or by email upon request.
Be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love just as Christ loved us and gave Himself for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:1-2).
We have authored several books:
(1) When in Despair, Hope, a study of Romans 8:28 for women in suffering
(2) Love First, Love Most
(3) five Side by Side Spiritual Conditioning devotional books:
*God's Big Questions (Genesis 3)
*The Lord's Prayer (Matthew 6)
*A New Beginning (John 3:16)
*True Greatness and Glory (Psalm 19)
*Character Matters.

Rex served in Oklahoma as youth minister at Broadway Baptist in Sand Springs and Jenks First Baptist, as senior pastor at Spiro First Baptist and Guymon First Baptist, then twenty-three years as the senior pastor at Springs of Grace Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, which sent him out as a missionary to extend his teaching, writing, and mentoring ministry. “The joy of my journey increased as I began to interact as a mentor to young people, especially those in their prep and college years. I have served as a youth minister, senior pastor, national speaker for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, organizer and teacher of a theological training center, mentor to coaches and athletes, and founder of a non-profit servant-leadership training program to help at-risk youth experience generational change.”
“I believe in Jesus Christ as the only Lord and Savior. I believe that everything our loving sovereign God does is wise, right, and good. I believe God uses the faithful preaching of His Word to change hearts and equips lives for His purpose. I believe Character matters, publicly and privately. I believe the most important thing in life is to love God and love others the way God loves us. I believe the Lord Jesus lives in us to lead us to others He intends to love through us.”
Rex and his wife, Vicki, have been married 46 years. They are blessed with three children and seven grandchildren living in Colorado Springs, Shreveport, and Nashville.
